The Town of Aberdeen is currently seeking a qualified applicant to fill the full-time position of Streets Maintenance Worker in the Public Works Department. This position will perform various manual labor tasks related to the Town’s streets such as maintaining right of ways by mowing, trimming, tree removal, and clearing of debris. Work will include applying asphalt patches as needed to repair damage, wear, or construction work. Work will also include grounds maintenance to ensure community plantings, beds and grounds are well maintained, attractive and healthy. Basic knowledge and ability to operate landscaping tools and power equipment is essential.

Starting salary: $14.54 - $16/hour, depending on experience, with excellent benefits package including 5% 401-k contribution, Local Government Employees Retirement System membership, paid medical, dental and life insurance, 12 paid holidays paid birthday day off, vacation and sick leave, annual longevity payment, and opportunities for career advancement.
